The scientific premise seemed to make sense (like (oil) dissolving like (oil on the skin). But everything I previously tried made my skin breakout and overly just upset. Too much and could never get past the “purge” phase (the litmus test for me honestly..my skin knows when it’s going to work out quickly). Decided to try this for the times I where makeup (just wear sunscreen and a bit of spot concealer-ish if needed). What a lovely surprise! Does a wonderful job of taking off eye makeup too (way better than micellar water). Rinses off clean, doesn’t feel like I just walked outside in Texas (it’s a hot mess here), and doesn’t break me out. I only use 1 pump, let it sit for a few minutes, and then use some water to emulsify it. I would say make sure you do the 8-10 rinses that is recommended (or maybe saw it on the Dieux IG as a recommendation) to get that right amount of clean and slightly moisturized. Also use it before I do maybe a mask or exfoliation - nice barrier protection for sensitive skin.
